The Master Key Meditation: Ek Ong Kaar Sat Gur Prasaad

Originally taught on July 18, 1975

This chant is a master key to the Cosmos. It opens the way forward when you are stuck. Treat this mantra with reverence. It has the power to amplify your words, so after your chant it, keep yourself elevated. Understand that you are part of Infinity and Infinity is part of you. Vibrate the Cosmos and the Cosmos shall clear the path!

Posture: Sit up straight with a firm spine, hands on the knees.

Mantra: Ek Ong Kaar Sat Gur Prasaad, Sat Gur Prasaad Ek Ong Kaar.

Ek Ong Kaar is chanted at the Navel Point. Always remember to chant it with the navel movement. On Ek Ong, the navel goes in; on Kaar, the navel goes out. Ek Ong Kaar: there is always a little jerk. Ek Ong Kaar is always at the navel.

Chant the mantra in an unbroken rhythm. Watch your tongue; lots of things will start happening.

Time: Continue for 3 - 11 minutes.

Translation:

God and We are One.
I know this by the Grace of the True Guru.
I know this by the Grace of the True Guru.
God and We are One.

This mantra, also known as the Siri Mantra or the Magic Mantra, stops anything negative and removes all obstacles. It brings great intuition. If the mantra is chanted 5 times, it will stop the mind and put it into reverse gear. It can take you beyond duality and establish the flow of spirit.

It needs to be chanted with reverence. After chanting this mantra, anything you say will be amplified, so be positive and don’t say anything negative, at least for a while. This mantra can have a negative backlash if chanted incorrectly. So it’s best to invoke the sacred—chant or meditate before practicing this mantra.

5th Sutra MP3 - Ek Ong Kaar Sat Gur Prasaad, Sat Gur Prasaad Ek Ong Kaar

More on the 5th Sutra:

"All of the Universe is a vibration of energy. We are either vibrating in harmony or disharmony with the Universe. We vibrate frequency through our thoughts, words, actions, emotions, and feelings. What we put out to the Universe we receive back, much like a boom-a-rang. When life seems to be continually placing blocks along your path and nothing seems to be moving, it may be showing that you are not vibrating in harmony with the Universe. To vibrate with the Universe is to vibrate the higher frequencies of love, compassion, and kindness. One of the best ways to be in the flow of the Cosmos is through yoga, meditation, and chanting mantra—sacred sounds that attune you to the Universe."
-Catalyst Yogi

"That’s right, chant. Out loud is better, although silently works, too. Changing your mental frequency changes your emotional response to the situation and environments, allows you to focus on the present demands, and opens up your own inner wisdom and clarity. It also helps others stay calm around you. 'Vibrate the Cosmos' also means to be aware of your words, and tone of voice. Avoid venting your frustration by bad mouthing someone or repeating over and over what a lousy situation you’re in. Make a practice of consciously choosing your words, and then notice how much energy and spirit you have, how others change around you, and how quickly you get things done."
